Why do this??

Why did I start a blog, what is the point of all this? I fell in love with reading at an early age, but I was the only one in my group of friends that loved reading. I was picked on and made fun of for reading at times, just left out at others. I always had my books though. The early years were all C.S. Lewis and trips into Narnia, then came the supernatural crime thrillers, and the obligatory YA addiction. Then out of nowhere I decided to read The Fellowship of the Ring and the love of fantasy came back from childhood and I knew from then on it was fantasy for me. I still haven't read all the classic series that are still mentioned but am trying to get to them all. Enough about were I came from and to answer the original question, why? The ultimate reason is to share my love of books with the world. Every time I read a great series my friends/coworkers know it because I cant shut up about it. I decided to start a blog about reading because it reaches a wider audience than just word of mouth to anyone that will listen. I have never been the most wordy person and sometime have trouble getting my thought on the page but the love of reading and sharing the fantastic worlds I have visited still drives me to share my thoughts, however short, on the books I have read. Well I am out of words again but will continue to work to develop this blog and to share the love I have for reading with the world.
