The Blighted City by Scott Kaelen

The Blighted City (The Fractured Tapestry)The Blighted City by Scott Kaelen
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received a copy of this book from the author for a honest review.

Jalis, Orikin, and Dagra accept a contract to retrieve a family heirloom from a city that was blighted by the gods and left in ruins for hundreds of years. The city however is not as empty as they thought it was.

What I liked best about this book was the character development. As you read through the book the characters become more and more real. You can feel the struggle in some of the decisions and I really got behind the characters.

This book has everything fantasy fanatics are looking for swordplay, an immersive world, wonderful characters, and a little magic.
